I had the pleasure of walking in “The Fall Fashion Show” for Town Center of Virginia Beach and Pembroke Mall along with my two favorite little guys! Yup, Raef and Isaiah….my two precious MODEL citizens. They were the youngest children in the show and wore a couple fall looks form The Children’s Place.
Raef rocked black cotton (dress) pants with black loafers along with a plaid button down with a red sweater over it and a 3-button vest, while Isaiah sported a teal sweater with a coordinating button down plaid shirt and striped necktie, paired with jeans and really cute velcro sneaker kicks (sorry no photo of his shoes). He also had a fedora style hat…the only thing was every time I put it on him, he’d take it off!!
Overall, the boys did a great job. It was tough to keep them occupied with all the “waiting” that comes with a large group of people getting ready and lining up for a show…and although there had been a walk through prior to the actual show, there’s no real way to prepare toddlers – mine anyway, to know what to do..hence why I walked the runway with them. We didn’t get any “official event photos or video”… long story, but T did get our “moment” on video with his camera phone. Not the best quality..but you can press play below to watch!
At any rate, it was a good experience, and thank goodness T was on hand to help me with the boys, because I couldn’t have done it on my own. I’m not trying to make my boys model or anything, but I love being able to expose them to different things and have them included in community events, and it was fun to see them all dressed up too!!
