Quick Bio: I’m the dayside Executive Producer at Local 10 News in Miami. I love the news business, I can honestly say I have never had a boring day at work! I grew up here in South Florida and consider myself lucky to live near family and friends who have I have known my entire life. I am thankful everyday for my amazing husband, Donnie. We are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary in November and I could never juggle it all without his help. Between work, appointments, and  play dates I feel like I never stop moving! I started my blog, Working Mom Magic, for other moms who are trying to keep it all together.

Q: What is your “go to” snack/toy/show/trick when your kids start to fuss?
A: I feel like any problem can be solved with a bag of goldfish crackers. For real.

Q: What is your favorite piece of advice to new Moms?
A: Don’t stress! With my son, I was always worried about if I was doing everything ‘right’. I took everyone else’s advice. With my second baby, I was much more confident in my parenting. Just because something works for someone else’s child, doesn’t mean it will work for yours.. so now I always trust my gut. And try to enjoy everything, it goes by so fast. One day you will miss those middle of the night feedings!!

Q: How do you incorporate fitness into your daily routine?
A: My husband & I take turns going to the gym every other day. I’m up at 5am, so I can get my workout in and be back by 6:45 when the kids wake up. It was really hard to get started, but now that we have our routine, I love it. I have way more energy and it helped me get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Q: What’s your most memorable Mommy moment to date?
A: The day my son came to the hospital to meet his baby sister. He had been asking for a sibling for so long, it was really awesome to see his reaction to her. Even now… watching them interact is my favorite thing. Especially now that she is a little older, she is obsessed with him. It’s so freaking cute.

Q: As a Mommy what is it that you feel you do “right”? Share something you have learned about yourself since you became a Mom.
A: I realized early on I can’t do it all. I have always been a type-A personality, but I had to let go of some of that when I became a mom. Now I try not to be so hard on myself. If I can’t make cookies for the class party, I simply say no and offer some money instead. If my kids have a play or an appointment, I am honest with my bosses explaining why I will be late. As long as I go to bed each night feeling like I did my best to make my kids feel special & loved… then I feel like I did my job.
