JennyLee MolinaName: JennyLee Molina
Child& Age: Rock Elijah Molina, 3
Hometown/Current Location: Miami, Florida
Quick Bio: I am a first time mom to a precocious toddler who also juggles a full-time career as a hard-working communications and marketing professional at my own boutique PR firm (JLPR) and recently co-founded C3V Agency.

Q: What is your “go to” snack/toy/show/trick when your kids start to fuss?
A: My son loves his blocks. As long as a I have a few in my purse or in the car, he is entertained for hours on end. We just graduated from the larger Mega Blocks to Legos – which is a little messier but great developmentally and I love how it encourages his imagination.

Q: How do you balance being a Mommy and keeping your sense of self?
A: I am very fortunate to have support from both sets of grandparents who are always eager to watch him even without me even asking, I try and make the best of that time to do things I love like like going for a mani/pedi, a fun workout or just catching up on sleep! Journaling and meditating even if for only five minutes at a time are also important to me and it really helps me be a better mom, wife and professional.

Q: As a Mommy what is it that you feel you do “right”?
A: My son is such a loving little boy – he is the first to hug a classmate if they are crying or offer them a toy. I also love that he always offers a piece of whatever he’s eating. It’s the little things! He is compassionate and generous and I’d like to think we’ve had something to with that. Encouraging our son to be a loving little human is the one thing I know we’re doing right. I also take a lot of pride in his diet and knowing that I have broken the cycle of bad habits such as having soda with dinner or sugar-laden juices. We come from a generation that didn’t have as much access to information as we do now, so I am big on super foods. From breast milk (which didn’t come easy) to home cooked baby food, I have always tried my best to give him the best.

Q: Describe your “Haute Mom” (fashion) style!
A: Whatever is easiest! You can’t go wrong with jeans, a nice tailored blazer and some nice stilettos. I always have flats in the car which I switch into when I pick up my son from school and then just take off my blazer and I’m ready for the park. It’s all about versatility these days!

Q: What’s the best surprise you’ve ever done for your kids/family?
My son woke up to a room full of balloons on his second and third birthday – his reaction is always priceless! I think it’s definitely a new tradition. On his 4th birthday next month, he’ll wake up to a new playground in our backyard – I am sure nothing else will top that!
