Q: What is your “go to” snack/toy/show/trick when your kids start to fuss?
A: Books! I hide tons of different engaging books all over the place to try and get them to chill out while we finish a task, whether driving, shopping, eating out, etc.

Q: How do you balance being a Mommy and keeping your sense of self?
A: I would go insane if I didn’t have a supportive husband who encourages me to hire a babysitter, go out with the girls, indulge in reality TV, and hide in the bathroom when need be.

Q: What is your favorite piece of advice to new Moms?
A: Relax. Seriously, just relax. No one has all the answers. Ask for help, read some books, but overall just trust in yourself. You are an amazing mom no matter what.

Q: How do you incorporate fitness into your daily routine?
A: I run around after my boys–does that count?!?

Q: What’s your most memorable Mommy moment to date?
A: I hate doing laundry. I absolutely hate it And of course, it all falls on my shoulders because I stay at home. One day while folding laundry, my oldest son took my bra, declared it a “booby box,” and then danced around the house while wearing it and singing a song about boobs. I always think of this fun story every time I dread doing laundry as a reminder to find the fun and joy in everything, even something as lame as laundry.

Q: As a Mommy what is it that you feel you do “right”?
A: My boys have been saying please and thank you both correctly and meaningfully sine they have been about a year and a half old. I love that they are polite little boys (most of the time) and hope they always remember their manners as they grow older!

Q: Share something you have learned about yourself since you became a Mom.
A: That my body is amazing and grew two healthy baby boys without totally exploding. I am very petite, and I had HUGE babies. Thankfully I never toppled over.

Q: Describe your “Haute Mom” (fashion) style!
A: I may not shower every day, but I always put on at least a little makeup and some type of jewelry in order to make myself feel special. It’s amazing how powerful a statement necklace can be!
